P1S R13 U10 — eight-piece vase diffusers, prototype 5 Four straight diffusers and four corners, printed as three vases. Frame unchanged. Replaces the rejected U4 paired-quarter vase. STRAIGHTS Each straight is tilted 30 degrees about its lower edge. Its two main faces then sit at +30 and -30 degrees from vertical, with the whole lower edge on the bed. Two equal straights face each other in one vase: front + back (252.5 mm each) and left + right (220.5 mm each). Short end closures and a 0.8 mm top strip trim away. The long blank sits on the bed diagonal; keep the supplied orientation. CORNERS All four corners print upright in one vase, with their flat lower rim on the bed and folded faces at +/-30 degrees from vertical. Short straight links between corners trim away. The last 4 mm at each corner end blends into the straight's installed section so the joint lines up; that blend reaches 60 degrees from vertical over the lowest 4.3 mm, about 2.5 mm along the end. The corners therefore keep 0.12 mm layers. PRINT The three STL files are SOLID SLICER ENVELOPES: vase mode, one wall, ZERO bottom layers and thickness, zero top layers, zero infill. One blank per job. Checked with maintained Repro P1S / Repro Vase / Repro PC - Polymaker PolyLite profiles for the 0.4 mm nozzle (Orca 2.5.0-dev fork build). Deliberate overrides: 0.6 mm outer line, 0.20 mm layers for straights and 0.12 mm for corners, zero floor, 3 mm attached outer brim, no supports, no tower, no arcs, 20 mm/s first layer. Material and machine values retained: 270 C nozzle, 100 C Textured PEI, 0.94 flow, 8 mm3/s cap, 99.51% XY shrink compensation. Diagnostic recipe; no print job submitted. Slicer estimates, clear PC, including brim: front + back straights 27 min 7.68 g left + right straights 25 min 6.79 g four corners 24 min 3.67 g complete set 76 min 18.1 g TRIM 1. Cut each straight free at the guide ridge nearest its end: the ridge's inner shoulder is the finished end. 2. Separate the corners at the guide ridges either side of each short link. 3. Trim the 0.8 mm top strip at the shallow groove's lower shoulder on every piece. 4. Remove the brim. Fit one straight and one corner before trimming the full set. COLOUR The custom clear/black mid-vase swap remains deferred. No two-colour job is supplied. CHECKS Three watertight vase envelopes. All eight finished parts clear the U10 frame and LED backing at 0, 0.8 and 1.6 mm lift, and each corner/straight joint keeps a 0.15 mm gap. Actual G-code: one continuous spiral per blank, no travel or retraction, sliced bead centreline within 0.08 mm of the CAD at the 99th percentile, all extrusion on the bed and clear of the start purge strip. No physical print or printer change was made.
