01 / SUPPORT

Feet carry the load.

Profiled end seats and six chamfered intermediate bearings pass laptop weight into the shell perimeter and its integral feet. The bridges sit at quarter intervals of each inlet slot, with 1 mm chamfers in both sliding directions. All laptop contacts are printed directly into the shells; no liners or hinge seals. Printed feet work bare, with desk-grip pads optional. Separate ribbed bottom covers close the duct. Together they use about 94 g of PETG, 48% less than D7. The loading end and underside intake remain clear.

02 / COOLING

Fans belong inside the body.

Flat grilles slide into open-top rails. Separate clips retain the fan and grille; their leaves print in the layer plane. The pocket allows for the selected 120 × 120 × 25 mm fan and configurable pad thickness. The suction datum and 18° upward discharge stay fixed.

03 / ASSEMBLY

Align it. Remove it whole.

The connector slides ±3 mm in Y and −4 to +5 mm in Z. Its independent X stop sets engagement. Remove two shell mounting locks, pull 4.3 mm to release the keys, then withdraw the entire module outboard. The printed face-cam spring still lets the holder fold clear.
