Final straight-socket racks
Updated finished models: All three Bondhus fans, native FreeCAD, print STEP and 100% infill modifier projects. The earlier revision below is preserved as history.
Your three-tier fan and three separate Bondhus T-handle racks. Long straight guides, generous entrances and vented square stops replace the flared seats.
Printed fit selection: 3C / 5C. Both use +0.38 mm total across flats: 0.19 mm per flat. Nominal sockets are 3.38 / 5.38 mm AF.

Reference tools show catalogue envelopes, not measured manufacturer surfaces. Preview meshes are reduced for the browser; STEP, FreeCAD and print downloads retain full geometry.
The socket concept
- Full straight engagement: max(40 mm, 8× shaft size), so a 10 mm key has 80 mm of guide.
- Separate chamfer: 3 mm along the shaft, opening 1.5 mm outward per flat. It adds to the guide length.
- Square stop and 1 mm vent: an axial floor vent connects to an outward passage below the socket, preserving stop shoulders.
- Handle clocking: flat-to-flat with the T bar; six straight flats throughout the hex guide.
3 mm and 5 mm are physically selected fits. Applying C clearance to other sizes and print angles is provisional. Small keys may still rotate in ideal geometry; a long guide reduces rocking but does not guarantee clocking. Torx sockets use nominal blade envelopes and need their own fit trial.

The three Bondhus sets
One rack per set: 33034 (T9–T40), 13189 (2–10 mm), and 13190 (3/32–3/8 inch). The two staggered tiers bring their depth close to the original fan.
What is checked
Each delivered model has native solid and mesh checks, full straight guide clearance, a continuous 2 mm socket-wall check, clear vent routes, retained floor shoulders, unchanged board-side connector geometry and nominal stored-tool clearance. The saved layouts also have nominal sampled withdrawal screens.
These revised models have not had a complete rack print, support-release test, physical installation or load test. The old v2 FEA and installation results describe different geometry and do not qualify these models. The old whole-host installation collision remains relevant to the mounting approach; a new path is still needed.
Print meshes are bare, unscaled inputs in the left-end orientation. Use your P1S/ASA profile, apply shrink compensation once, and review supports and the compensated bed/brim footprint. The brace STL is an aligned modifier for 100% infill, not a separate printable part. No G-code or printer profiles are included.
