The letters became holders.

MH01-MH04 v1 · ready to test print. The MS01 trial picked four seats: E, I, M and O. Each now has its own magnetic bar with the same seat, the same 0.8 mm seat skin, the same flat 5 degree bearing top and the same tight pegs (fit e586ab4ff6) as the sampler you mounted.

Print plate 1 first. The plugs must exist before a holder reaches its pause. Magnets are sealed: each holder pauses once with the 38.0 mm layer complete, each 20 × 10 × 3 mm magnet and its plug go in, and the last 2 mm caps them permanently. Sliced and path-checked; not yet printed.

They tile on the grid

Width is 25.4 mm × cells − 2 mm, with pegs in the two outermost cell centres. Seat pitch is cells × 25.4 ÷ seats with the row centred, so identical bars hung side by side keep the same seat spacing across their 2 mm seam. Eight handle-clear seats of I or M need 355-406 mm, more than one P1S print, so each eight-seat row is a pair of four-seat bars.

All seven prints: about 663 g and 25 hours. Textured PEI, 0.20 mm layers, four walls, 15% gyroid, build-plate supports and 3 mm brim, the same settings as the MS01 v2 job.

  1. Print plate 1. Holders print flat top down.
  2. At the pause every chimney is open. Slide one magnet into each with its 20 mm length vertical, then a plug; the plug ends 1 mm below the rim. Keep loose magnets away from the nozzle and each other.
  3. Resume. The next layer begins the permanent cap.
  4. Remove the brim and local peg supports before mounting.

Checked on the emitted G-code: nothing outside the bed, path accounting and startup clearance pass, exactly one pause per holder plate, zero extrusion inside any of the 18 magnet chimneys below 38.0 mm, and every chimney first closes at 38.2 mm. Desktop GUI opening was not checked.

MH01 · Jeweler drivers · letter E

4.0 mm round shafts in a 4.3 mm seat. Six seats at 16.93 mm, tighter than the sampler's 17.5 mm trial pitch. Three cells would leave a 0.15 mm wall beside the outer magnets, so four cells is the narrowest bar that tiles. Print one.

MH02 · 6 mm drivers · letter I

6.0 mm round shafts in a 6.3 mm seat. Four seats at 44.45 mm for roughly 30 mm handles. Print two: side by side they make the eight-seat row, and the 44.45 mm spacing carries straight across the 2 mm seam.

What the CAD checks cover

One valid solid per holder; STEP round trips; both peg flats on the bed plane; seated tool clear of the holder; bearing contact under a 0.1 mm drop; lift-then-forward withdrawal with every neighbour seated; 0.99-1.04 mm magnet-to-shaft gap, matching sealed v2; straight magnet and plug loading path at the pause; print bounds under 250 mm.

Not established: support removal, physical fit, load, and magnetic feel at this spacing. Nothing has been sent to a printer. You judged the letters in the open v3 channel, where the magnet gap could range 0.82-1.62 mm; the sealed pocket holds it near 1.02 mm.
